17日正午，发行新专辑《Ice Cream Cake》的同时，Red Velvet在国内外席卷了音源排行榜冠军、专辑部分Hanteo排行榜、Gaon专辑排行榜冠军、YOUTUBE MV排行榜~！！ 在过去两周期间默默刮起一阵旋风，不停往前行的Red Velvet在上周末在电视音乐节目KBS《音乐银行》及SBS《人气歌谣》上荣获2冠王的成绩~!!

双主打曲《Ice Cream Cake》是一首电子嘻哈类型的曲子，用甜美轻快的旋律表现出了陷入爱情的少女的激动之心，还有《Automatic》是一首抒情式的都市歌曲，突出了Red Velvet细腻的歌声和和音，在风格完全不同的这两首曲子中可以感受到Red Velvet各种魅力和潜力。
自从去年8月出道以后，Red Velvet以《Happiness》展开活动，虽然曾经为冠军后补队伍，但是这次是第一次真的在舞台上获得冠军奖牌，Red Velvet这次的第一名更别具意义。所以想要说的话很多，除了队长Irene之外，其它成员止不住泪水只说了短短几句话。
